Sol LeWitt exhibition in Sydney was too cool! I particularly loved the wall drawings and books on display, just seeing all these conceptual things that I had only read about in books :)

Looking at these detail photos of my Vanitas painting from last year - mainly because I prefer them to the overall composition, and  I can’t imagine when I’ll paint something like this again because it took so much patience!!

Anonymous asks: Is your style commercially successful?

I would actually have no way of knowing that yet because I’m at the start of my second year at art school & have just been making work focusing around my studies. I’m not really sure if i even have a style though because at the moment I’m trying to learn different things/basic things about painting and drawing/experimenting all the time (although i do find myself coming back to certain sources of inspiration and subjects) so I can’t imagine really having an audience yet, you know? Its hard because I’ve always just made paintings because I’ve wanted to HAVE paintings around me but one day i would love to make work and sell it to people who would want it and be an actual PERSON in the WORLD.. WE’LL SEE! :)

conscious-inertia asks: I fucking love your blog; you're so great at what you do

Aw thank you! I’m so happy u like my blog - most of the time i have no idea what i’m doing and I’m just trying to have fun so its very cool that you can share that with me :)
